MSA launches mentoring program

In response to a member suggestion, the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Selectmen’s Association has voted to establish a mentoring program.

The program will make veteran selectmen available to provide confidential guidance and advice to other selectmen from around the state. The MSA Board hopes that the program will provide answers and insights to newly elected selectmen as well as any selectman seeking an outside perspective.

The MSA Board will provide a report on this effort at the association’s business meeting in January.
