Local Aid and Finance DLS posts updated local aid estimates
The Division of Local Services has posted updated local aid estimates based on the state budget signed by the governor on July 13.
The appropriations for Chapter 70, Lottery and Additional Assistance are consistent with the amounts in the legislative resolution approved on March 20.

Charter school tuition assessments and reimbursements reflect fiscal 2009 enrollment submitted by charter schools to the Department of Education. The estimated school choice tuition assessments and receipts reflect updated enrollments and costs based on final fiscal 2008 data.
Assessments for communities that are members of regional transit authorities have been updated based on outside sections 62, 63 and 64 of the budget. These sections require the use of final audited local assessments available as of Jan. 1 each year. Therefore, the fiscal 2009 assessments are based on audited fiscal 2007 local assessments.
