WEMO luncheon speaker: Joan Vennochi

Joan VennochiBoston Globe columnist Joan Vennochi writes about national and local politics as well as issues relating to business, law and culture.

Before joining the Globe’s op-ed page, Vennochi wrote a column on the business page. She has served as the Globe’s City Hall bureau chief, State House bureau chief, and a news reporter covering national politics.

She began her career at the paper as a researcher on the Spotlight Team, the Globe’s investigative unit. In 1980 she shared a Pulitzer Prize awarded to the team for local investigative reporting.

Vennochi is a graduate of Boston University and Suffolk Law School.

Advance registration is required for the Women Elected Municipal Officials luncheon. The cost for the event is $25.
