Who is a member?
Our members are the local governments of Massachusetts and their elected and appointed leadership.
The 2020-2021 Massachusetts Municipal Directory, a comprehensive resource for and about local government in the state, is now available online. Though the Directory has traditionally been released as a printed edition, the MMA is publishing this year’s guide as a password-protected PDF. The 224-page Directory provides the latest information on each of the state’s 351 cities and towns, as well as extensive state and federal government and school listings. People who have already purchased a copy of this year’s Directory or who have membership access to it can click here to log in. The MMA has sent emails with login information and instructions for accessing the document.
The directory is included in the subscription to the Municipal Advocate and is automatically made available to Advocate and Beacon recipients. For members, MMA dues cover the cost of that subscription.
Others interested in the Massachusetts Municipal Directory may purchase online access.
