Who is a member?
Our members are the local governments of Massachusetts and their elected and appointed leadership.
Applications are due April 30 for the MMA and Suffolk University’s two Certificate in Local Government Leadership and Management programs that will be held during the 2019-2020 academic year.
The graduate-level academic program, designed for municipal employees interested in furthering their career in local government and pursuing a graduate degree, provides a well-rounded understanding of public-sector management.
The classes, taught by Suffolk faculty, include administrative strategies in local government, budgeting and financial management, and human resources management. Classes are held on Fridays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., beginning in September and running through May.
The two programs for 2019-2020 will be held in Littleton—the first offering in north central Massachusetts—and Barnstable, where it has been held three times previously.
Applications should be sent to email@example.com.
