Belonging in Municipal Affairs: Community Connections

This equity-centered networking reception is designed to complement the objectives of the Connect 351 conference.

The intent is to create an inclusive networking environment where municipal leaders, minority-owned business owners, and community stakeholders can connect, share resources, and explore solutions for fostering diversity and equity in local government.

Attendance at this reception is optional for Connect 351 attendees.

The reception will be held at the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport, in the Marquee Room on the 2nd floor.

What to expect: Lively conversation, connection-building, and an insightful fireside chat with state and local leaders, where attendees will explore ways to cultivate inclusive, community-centered municipal environments.

The fireside chat will feature Sen. Liz Miranda, Sharon Select Board Chair Kiana Baskin, and Boston City Councillor Ruthzee Louijeune, and will be moderated by MMA Chief Equity Officer Jill Harvey.
