The town of Nantucket seeks an experienced professional for the position of Financial Analyst. Under the direction of the Finance Director, the Analyst assists in the compilation, organization and analysis of expenditure and revenue budgets for general, grant and enterprise funds. The Analyst is responsible for cost of contract reporting, financial forecasting, annual capital and operating budget presentations, and serves as a liaison to various committees as directed by the Finance Director. A bachelor’s degree in public administration, business, accounting or related field and four years of experience in related fields is preferred. Advanced knowledge of excel, accounting principles and Massachusetts General Laws regarding finance preferred. Full-time; Benefits; Non- Union Position; Salary Range $75,000 - $90,000.
