The town of Nantucket seeks an experienced professional for the position of Public Records Compliance Officer (PRCO). Under the direction of the Operations Administrator, the PRCO acts as the Records Access Officer (RAO) for the town as required by State Public Records Law and is responsible for enforcement and education of Open Meeting Law (OML). The PRCO organizes annual OML training for town staff and elected officials, posts all assigned committee agendas and minutes, attends Select Board meetings and prepares packets as requested, assists with minute taking as required. Associates degree in public administration, business or related field and one year of related work experience or any equivalent combination of education and training preferred. Proficient computer literacy and exceptional organizational and communication skills essential. Full-time; Benefits; Non-Union Position; Salary Range $55,000 - $65,000.
