The town of Danvers welcomes applications for the full-time position of Administrative Assistant with the Land Use and Community Services (LUCS) Division. The town of Danvers is a reputable town on the North Shore, providing a supportive and welcoming environment for town staff – including a commitment to professional development and policies to support a good work/life balance. This position requires a professional demeanor with exceptional organizational skills and performs a variety of administrative, operational, and secretarial functions in direct support of the Director of Land Use and Community Services, the staff, services, programs, and activities of the Land Use and Community Services Division.
The town will consider any combination of relevant work experience, education, volunteerism, and transferable skills as qualifying, unless otherwise designated as required. Minimum qualifications: Associate degree and five to seven years of professional administrative assistant experience or municipal office experience strongly preferred, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Suite is required. Experience with Munis is strongly preferred. Experience supporting websites preferred. Notary Public preferred. Valid driver’s license.
