The Town is seeking a qualified individual with excellent customer service, computer, and organizational skills. This position provides administrative support to the Community Services Department and works under the supervision of the Community Services Coordinator.
Along with general clerical responsibilities, duties include providing administrative support for the Boxborough Rental Assistance Program, assisting residents in locating social services/community resources, coordinating the quarterly dissemination of the Boxborough Bee newsletter, updating community resource pamphlets, assisting with the coordination of volunteers around back to school/holiday events, and other projects that support the work of the office. Work requires independent action, judgment, and upholding the confidentiality of recipients receiving services.
Candidates should have a minimum of one to three years in a responsible clerical position. High school graduate or equivalent; or a combination of education and experience. A driver’s License is required.
