Job Description

The Hudson Planning and Community Development Department is seeking an Administrative Assistant to help manage operations and oversee administrative processes for the Planning and Community Development Department. The Administrative Assistant provides high-level and complex administrative support to the Planning Board, Zoning Board of Appeals, Conservation Commission, Affordable Housing Trust, Historical Commission, Disabilities Commission, and the Internal Traffic Committee. Performs varied administrative duties related to land-use planning and development permitting, economic development, transportation, affordable housing, open space and environmental planning, and grant writing and administration.
High school diploma including, or supplemented by, training in office procedures, business and computer applications; Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Two to five years of office management experience in a municipal setting or dealing with the public; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
37.5-hours/week in-person and attendance at some evening meetings will be required. Salary range $55,705 -$73,124.
