The town of Bedford is searching for a full-time (35 hours/week) Administrative Assistant to perform senior level administrative, secretarial and clerical duties in the Town Manager’s office. Duties include but are not limited to: providing information to the public, preparing correspondence, billing, payroll, licensing, scheduling, maintenance of records, publishing documents, assisting with Human Resources, social media posting, receiving and sorting mail, reception, and customer service. This position is also responsible for taking minutes at an average of one or two night meetings per month in exchange for time off during the regular work week. Must also be a team player, highly organized, self-motivated and able to work in a very busy work environment.
The hours for this position are Monday 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The starting salary range for this position is a minimum $27.73 – $31.89 per hour but dependent upon experience.
