The town of Shrewsbury is seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the full-time position of Administrative Assistant II for the Public Facilities Division within the Department of Public Works. This position is responsible for administrative, customer service, meeting minutes, and financial work to support the activities of the Public Facilities Division of DPW.

The successful candidate will have the ability to interact tactfully and appropriately with the public and other town departments, as well as excellent computer, bookkeeping, and secretarial skills. The ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently to prioritize tasks are also required. Please see the Job Description for further detail.

The position is compensated at the A-3 level, 37.5 hours per week, on the town’s compensation schedule, commensurate with experience, along with a competitive benefit package as set forth in the town’s personnel bylaw, ranging from $20.53 – $24.48 per hour. Additional hours for attending night meetings.
