The town of Millville is seeking an Administrative Secretary for the Millville Police Department. The candidate for this position should be detail oriented, able to work in a faced paced environment, and have excellent written and oral communications skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is preferred.
This person will perform highly responsible senior level administrative and secretarial services for the Chief of Police and department, including accounts receivable/payable, payroll and detail billing, maintain confidential departmental information, receive telephone calls and visitors, develop office procedures, maintain filing systems, prepare reports, prepare a variety of correspondence, and gather, duplicate and distribute information as necessary. Performs all other related work as required.
Candidate for this position should have at least three years of experience as an Administrative Secretary or similar. Salary range is $38,000-$42,000.
