ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT TO THE TOWN MANAGER
The town of Oxford is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Administrative Assistant to the Town Manager. As an executive level support position, the Administrative Assistant will be responsible for a large amount of complex, confidential, administrative and secretarial work as well as formal correspondence.
This position is responsible for maintaining a cooperative working relationship with fellow employees to assure the smooth operation of the municipal government. This is a full-time, 40 hour per week, non-exempt position with full benefits.
Qualified candidates must demonstrate a high degree of flexibility and adapt to changing priorities, independently complete projects, have strong command of Microsoft Office programs and be a self-starter. Preferred candidates will have a prior municipal experience and a minimum of a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Salary commensurate with experience.
