The town of Dartmouth is seeking a full-time Administrator of Assessing. This position is responsible for the supervision and administration of the Assessors Office. Work includes conducts field inspections; prepare and maintain current data on each parcel assessed; conduct regular reviews of property; complete all forms for preliminary and annual tax billing; assessment and abatement of automobile and boat excise tax. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in public administration, finance, or related field and a minimum of five years of experience as an Assistant Assessor, or appraiser, with valuation responsibilities; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Must obtain MAAO or IAAO within two years of hire.
SALARY: $81,737.41 – $106, 25.63
