Full-time 37 hours per week
Pay: $978.27-$1,239.23 weekly

Professional and library reference and advisory services work providing reference and circulation assistance to library patrons; responsible for collection maintenance; performs other related work, as required.

Promotes patron access to information; instructs the public in the use of the internet and the automated library system. Provides readers advisory services to patrons. Participates in collection development and purchase of materials, including print and non-print materials; reviews the reference collection and recommends updates and additions; review periodicals and write order cards for nonfiction collection development and weed and update reference area to ensure up to date information. Organize and lead adult programs; develop handouts for adult programs including seasonal events listing, book lists and “how to” brochures.

Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field; master’s degree preferred; three years of library experience; adult library experience preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
