Applications Engineer

Job Description

The city of Gloucester is now accepting applications for the full time, in person position of Applications Engineer. This position plans, designs, and implements new applications and enhances/maintains existing applications leveraging vendor software products. Designs and implements database applications through Quickbase or like products. Identifies and resolves application systems issues. Provides help desk servicing, and training. Monitors and reacts to ticketed requests assigned based on area of experience. Performs other duties as required.

This is a full-time, in-person, 35 hour per week, benefit eligible position. Monday through Wednesday 8:00am-4:00pm, Thursdays 8 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. and Fridays 8 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Salary range is $86,600.42 – $107,676.74 per year based on qualifications and experience.
