The town of Shrewsbury, a full-service local government driven by high performance and creativity, is seeking a dedicated professional who cares deeply about their work, the community, and the lives of people around them to join the Building Inspector Team as an Assistant Building Inspector. This position is a great entry point for someone who has a strong construction background and understanding of state building code to enter the building official field. This position offers a great opportunity to work on a variety of projects.
Hiring Range: $68,015-$75,000 annually (DOQ)
This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours/week, primarily stationed at Shrewsbury Town Hall but frequently working out of the office around town, completing inspections. This position comes with a monthly travel allowance, as well as a cell phone stipend or use of a town cell phone.
