The city of Watertown seeks qualified applicants for the position of Assistant City Clerk. The position works under the supervision of the City Clerk and supports them in overseeing a wide range of administrative, record-keeping, and public facing duties, including vital records, business certificates, licensing, elections, and office management. The Assistant City Clerk assumes all responsibilities of the City Clerk in their absence.
SALARY: This is a non-union position with an annual 15 step hiring range is $89,498 to $118,090. Hiring above Step 1 is dependent upon qualifications, experience and education; applicants are typically hired in the lower half of the range.
