Assistant City Solicitor

Position Summary:

Under the general supervision of the City Solicitor, this position will defend the city in state and federal courts and will also advocate on behalf of the city in civil litigation, criminal, and administrative law matters.

As a professional lawyer, this position uses independent judgement in representing the city’s interests and remains responsible for advising and guiding all departments within the municipality on matters of legal compliance.
