The town of Dennis is seeking qualified applicants to fill the position of Assistant Golf Director/Administrator.

This position is responsible for overseeing and directing administrative/financial responsibilities for golf administration. Major responsibilities include supervision of staff, assisting Golf Director with budget preparation and with development of a long-range capital plan for golf course, and operational procedures.

The ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator with solid interpersonal and organizational skills; must have strong financial knowledge (planning, preparation, administration); and have the ability to establish and manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. The candidate must have knowledge of overall golf course operations and human resources management practices.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in management or related field and three to five years’ golf course operations, with experience in the daily operations of a golf course with supervisory authority, along with a strong financial background; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
