The town of Norfolk is seeking an Assistant Director of Public Works. The Assistant Director of Public Works, in collaboration with the Director, is responsible for the daily operations of the Department of Public Works which consists of the following divisions: Highway, Vehicle Maintenance, Water, Waste Water, Solid Waste, Grounds Maintenance (Municipal/Recreation & Cemetery) and Tree Maintenance. The Assistant Director ensures the efficient use of equipment and personnel, coordinates projects, and participates in the preparation of the annual department budget. The Assistant Director of Public Works reports to the Director of Public Works.
Annual Salary: $77,480 – $81,390. Starting pay is based on qualifications and experience. The town offers a generous benefits package.
