The town of Westborough Department of Public Works is seeking applications from qualified, team oriented individuals for the full time position of Assistant DPW Director. As second in line of authority within the DPW, this position contributes to the overall management and coordination of the activities of the Department of Public Works to include planning and scheduling construction, repairing and maintaining town roads and related infrastructure, preparing and executing a multi-million dollar budget, and advising and interfacing with other boards, commissions and community members as necessary. Position requires availability outside of normal business hours to attend meetings or respond to emergencies.
Applicants shall possess a bachelor’s of science degree and five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Qualified applicants must possess a valid driver’s license. Possession of a CDL license is desirable.
