ASSISTANT HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR
$69,790.05 – $84,446.72

This position is a great opportunity to provide professional and administrative work related to the daily operations of the Human Resources Department. The work includes research, analysis, compliance, employee training, recruitment/selection, benefits and salary administration, routine reporting , public record requests, FMLA process, and other general HR functions under the direction of the HR Director. In the absence of the Director, has responsibility for the administration of the office. Develop and implement a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) training program for all town staff. Attends and assists the Director in all collective bargaining sessions.
Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or business administration required; five years prior office experience or any equivalent combination. Proficient in Microsoft Office, possess a working knowledge of employment laws and practices, compliance, confidentiality and diplomacy, and outstanding communication skills.
This is a 40 hour per week position, hours are Monday – 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday – 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday – 7 a.m. to Noon. Eligible for the town’s complete benefit package and enrollment in the Massachusetts retirement system.
