Department of Public Works Assistant Director
This highly responsible position performs administrative work and provides management assistance to the Public Works Director. This position is responsible for all divisions and functions of the Public Works Department in the absence of the Director. The position will focus on engineering and environmental-related matters. Key Responsibilities:
• Preparing concise and accurate reports, contracts, and policies, including financial, and budgetary
• Municipal environmental requirements including MS4 and Multi-Sector General Permit
• Managing operations and maintenance of the Baboosic Lake Community septic system
Qualifications:
• Four-year college degree in civil/environmental engineering or related field
• Valid NH driver’s license
• NH Grade 2 Wastewater operator license (preferred)
• NH License professional engineer (preferred)
• LPA Certificate (preferred) OR Any combination of training, education, and experience that demonstrates the required knowledge skills, and abilities of which at least three years of experience were at a management or supervisory level.
