Assistant Superintendent of Water & Sewer
Town of Weymouth
The town of Weymouth is currently accepting applications for an Assistant Superintendent of Water & Sewer. Under the general direction of the Superintendent of Water and Sewer will assist with the overall administration, operation, maintenance and construction of the sanitary sewer and potable water systems. Plan and direct the Division workforce to complete projects on schedule and with minimal disruption. Provides operational guidelines, reviews personnel assignments and workload delegation, and supervises construction and maintenance of the systems. Handle daily operational problems related to projects and workforce assignments.
Establish and implement a pumping station maintenance program for 11 pumping stations and 19 ejector stations; distributes worksheets to be completed weekly, quarterly, and semi-annually. Maintains records of all work completed in the Department, including replacement of parts in the systems, construction work, and response to citizen complaints.

To be considered candidates must possess the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering; two years of experience in municipal sewer and water operations; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Massachusetts class D driver’s license (current/valid)
Certified Massachusetts D4 water distribution (or ability to obtain within 1 year)
Desired Licenses (or ability to obtain within 1 year)
Massachusetts CDL B/Airbrakes
Massachusetts T4 water treatment full operator
The salary range for this position is $67,833.89 to$83,604.28
