Town of Littleton seeks qualified applicants for an Assistant Town Clerk position, 30 hrs/week. Assists in the preparation of birth, death, marriage licenses and certificates, voter registration and election activities, and certifying nomination papers and initiative petitions, both local and statewide. Processes statistics and information for the state Registry of Vital Records. Daily contact with the public, town departments, boards, and committees, explaining and performing some interpretation of town bylaws, state and federal regulations and policies relevant to the functions of the Town Clerk’s office. Successful applicant will be capable of multitasking, possess excellent communication skills, is detailed oriented, professional and well versed in all business software including Microsoft Office Suite; must possess ability to learn new software and attend meetings and seminars.
