We are currently seeking qualified applicants for the full-time position of Assistant Town Manager for Development within the Land Use, Housing and Development Department.

This executive-level position manages all land-use and development-related divisions and supports the Town Manager on land, housing and development-related agreements, policies, plans, permitting and dispute resolution. Fosters a collaborative culture among Planning, Building, Zoning, Conservation, Economic Development direct-report staff managers for optimal service to residents, applicants and property owners. Engages with community members, businesses, legislators. Qualified applicants will have a Master’s degree or equivalent plus seven to 10 years of executive-level management experience in a multi-division department, city/town planning, environmental policy and development or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience is required. Anticipated hiring range: $138,295 to $156,307 with full salary range to $199,033.
