The town of Lunenburg is seeking applications from qualified individuals for the position of Assistant Town Manager/HR Director. This position provides assistance to the Town Manager and is responsible for human resource administration, and a variety of special projects as assigned. Bachelor’s degree in public administration, human resource administration, business administration or related field preferred; five to seven years related administrative experience preferable in a municipal setting; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience. HR certification is desirable and MCPPO certification is preferred. Qualified applicants will have a knowledge of Mass General Law, Open Meeting Law, and rules and regulations as dictated by the Attorney General’s Office. Individual shall possess strong leadership, communication, organizational, and inter-personal relations skills. This is a non-union, Grade 16 Salary Administration Plan position, $38.44-$47.77/hr; 28 hours/week; excellent benefits. Will be required to attend night meetings as needed.
