The town of Middleton is seeking applicants for the full-time position of Assistant Treasurer/Collector. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a small dynamic department in a growing town north of Boston. The Assistant Treasurer/Collector will perform a variety of bookkeeping, collection, accounts payable, payroll/benefit processing, computational and customer service work in assisting the Treasurer/Collector.
An associate’s degree in business, finance, or a similar field is required, with a bachelor’s degree preferred. Three to five years of general finance and accounting experience with payroll/benefit processing, knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and experience with MUNIS software preferred.
Expected hiring range of $62,052 – $71,359, with a current career max of $80,667. Excellent benefits including educational and professional development opportunities.
