The city of Lowell is seeking candidates for the position of Assistant Workers Compensation Agent. The position reports to the City Solicitor, Workers Compensation Agent, Office Manager and is responsible for assisting the Workers Compensation Agent in investigation of claims of injured employees, takes statements from witnesses, prepares legal documents for court cases, manages pensions and annuity claims, processing medical reimbursements for retirees etc., attendance at hearings before various courts and Division Industrial Accident Board. Must have three to five years in processing medical claims. Annual Salary: $46,439.64 to $54,443.48; 35 hours per week.
