The Associate Planner will carry out neighborhood planning responsibilities and will work in a team-oriented environment on a broad range of urban issues involving a wide variety of public settings and participants. Develop neighborhood planning studies that examine and address current and future community needs while achieving citywide goals. Manage community processes for design of new or renovated parks, plazas, streetscapes, and open spaces. Maintain and develop on-going relationship with residents, businesses, and civic organizations; serve as liaison to various neighborhood committees and organizations. Bachelor’s degree in related field plus five years of relevant experience; master’s degree plus three years of relevant experience preferred. Excellent presentation, written and oral communication skills. $62,338 – $88,021 plus plus excellent benefits.
