The town of Natick is looking for a Budget Analyst to join its Finance Team.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in municipal budgeting with at least of three years of increasingly responsible professional experience in finance, budgeting or accounting, preferably in local government.
Some responsibilities of the position are as follows: Responsible for coordinating the preparation of town-wide budgets, provides instructions and schedules budget preparations; prepares modifications to budgets; prepares presentations and materials for town-wide budget forums and Committees. Conducts year around follow-up and support of departmental budgets.
Bachelor’s degree in public or business administration, accounting or a related field is required. A master’s degree in public or business administration accounting or a related field is highly desirable. Computer literate, especially in the use of MS office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Knowledge in Munis Software preferred.
This position is a Grade 4 of the Personnel Board Pay Plan with a salary range of $60,000-$65,000 based on qualifications.
