The Department of Administration and Finance seeks a Budget Director to manage a staff of financial analysts and direct the development, administration and monitoring of department and city-wide annual operating and capital budgets; develops and implements budget and capital policies for both short and long range fiscal planning. This position executes key internal control procedures over operating and capital expenditures to ensure that they are in compliance with city budgets, policies, and ordinances.
The qualified applicant will have supervisory experience in a financial analysis and budgetary finance environment; experience with capital financing and debt structure; robust, high transaction volume financial systems and ledgers; ability to read, interpret, and document financial transactions in compliance with city ordinances, state statues, other regulatory laws and accounting principles.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree; seven years of financial analysis and budget related experience; three to five years’ of supervisory experience in financial analysis and/or budget.
SALARY: $71,353.15 – $108,909.20 annually, full-time.
