Building Commissioner – Part-time

The town of West Boylston is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual for the position of Building Commissioner/Zoning
Enforcement Officer. This person serves as the Building Commissioner as well as the Building Department manager and Code Enforcement Officer. Under the supervision of the Town Administrator, the Inspector shall be responsible for assuring compliance with state and local building codes and regulations, zoning laws; all construction/site plans and permits; supervision of a part-time clerk and coordinates the activities amongst various local inspectors. State certification as Inspector of Local Buildings required. Must also possess good written, administrative and oral skills. Part-time, 19.5 hours per week. Salary negotiable.
