Seeking qualified, highly skilled and experienced Chief Assessor. Position requires competence in the analysis and determination of property values; independent thinking, judgement and initiative.
Successful candidate will possess exceptional administrative, customer service and communication skills, and be adept at accurately appraising real and personal property; establish taxable values for new, remodeled, or enlarged residential, commercial, and industrial buildings according to market data.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with courses in business, finance and property assessment; five years of real and personal property appraisal experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Massachusetts Accredited Assessor certification (MAA) required.
