The town of Danvers seeks applications for FT position of Chief Assessor. The town of Danvers is a politically stable community on the North Shore, providing a supportive and welcoming environment for town staff. The Chief Assessor performs varied duties relating to managing the assessment and appraisal function for the town of Danvers and may have opportunities to collaborate with other services, including economic development and general municipal finance. The office is currently being led by the long-term Assistant Assessor and is being supported by a Former Chief Assessor who is highly regarded, was active in the MAAO, and who serves on the Danvers Board of Assessors.
This position works 35 hours per week. Management (M-3) pay scale starting at $85,226, with the ability to move through scale (via COLA/merit system) to the max step at $111,545.
