The city of Amesbury is seeking an accomplished, forward-thinking Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive leadership team and help shape the city’s financial future. Reporting directly to the Mayor, the CFO serves as a key strategic advisor and plays a critical role in guiding financial policy, long-term planning, and organizational excellence across the municipality.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced municipal finance professional to make a lasting impact in a vibrant, growing community by working closely with the mayor and department leaders to ensure fiscal stability, transparency, and innovation.

Salary: $150,000 – $160,000 annually; additional compensation $4,500 for Retirement Board Stipend.
