TOWN OF EASTON
The town of Easton is accepting applications for a qualified individual to fill the position of Civil Engineer, full-time, 40 hours per week.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in civil engineering and two years of design and construction experience in public works or related projects. Certification as Engineer-in-Training (EIT) required, Registration as a Professional Engineer in Massachusetts required desirable but not required or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Possession of a valid Class D Driver’s License required. The successful candidate must provide proof of an acceptable driving record from the Registry of Motor Vehicles. Municipal experience preferred.
Duties include but are not limited to project design and general engineering functions within the DPW. Responsible professional, administrative and technical work in the field and office that includes supervision of professional consultants and contractors; design, estimating, bid preparation, construction inspection, drafting and engineering computation for municipal projects, and the management and updating of computerized engineering software systems (GIS, CAD, etc.) all other work as required. This is an exempt union position and the anticipated hiring range is $78,664.93 – $88,591.36 annually with excellent benefits.
