The town of Nantucket seeks qualified candidates for the position of Coastal Resilience Coordinator. Working under the Natural Resources Director, the Coastal Resilience Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and coordinating a comprehensive Coastal and Community Resilience Program through writing and reviewing grant packages, managing grant budgets and projects, and preparing reports on progress. Performs educational outreach and leads workshop activities. Proficient written and oral communication essential to effectively interact with a diverse group of public stakeholders is required.
Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, planning, engineering, or related field, plus two years related training and/or experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Two years’ experience in a supervisory role. Master’s degree preferred. Valid Class D Motor Vehicle Driver’s License Required.
Union position; Full-time; Annual salary $81,696 – $85,781.
