Code Enforcement Officer
Hourly Rate Range: $35.90-$43.03
Part-Time, 20 Hours Weekly
Performed under the general supervision of the Director and the Inspector of Buildings, will enforce town of Belmont general bylaws and zoning bylaws, and to perform other duties to support the projects and programs of the Office of Planning and Building. Coordinates and performs onsite inspections of all buildings and facilities requiring inspection and certification under the Certificate of Inspection Program. Performs other related duties as assigned and required. May be required to occasionally work evenings and weekends.

Associate degree and three years of practical experience, or any equivalent experience. Experience in code and bylaw enforcement desirable; must have excellent written and verbal skills. Must be proficient in MS Office. Requires a valid Massachusetts driver’s license.
This is a 20 hour per week, fully benefitted position. The hourly pay range is $35.90-$43.03.
