The town of Upton Police department seeks two part-time, on-call Communications Officers reporting to the Police Chief. Responsibilities include receiving and prioritizing emergency and non-emergency calls; dispatching police, fire, and EMS units; maintaining logs and records; providing emergency first-aid instructions; monitoring radio frequencies and communications equipment; assisting the public; and ensuring the safety of incarcerated individuals. Ongoing training is required to maintain certifications.
Starting Salary: $24.74/hour (range up to $35.27/hour, Step 14).
