This full-time, benefited position provides technical, administrative, and strategic planning support to the Conservation Commission by reviewing and making recommendations on conservation land management initiatives; participating in long-range planning and the development of policies and bylaw updates. Responsible for managing/promoting town’s conservation land, administering the Wetlands Protection Act, the Rivers Protection Act and related local wetland policies. Bachelor’s degree in environmental studies/natural sciences or related discipline; four to six years of conservation management/stewardship and Wetlands Protection Act administration required; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
