The Town of East Bridgewater is accepting applications for the position of Conservation Agent for the Conservation Commission.
Under the general direction of the Town Administrator but is responsible to the leadership of the Conservation Commission to achieve its goals and policies. This position is responsible for the administration and enforcement of the Wetlands Protection Act and applicable regulations along with town stormwater bylaws.
The Conservation Agent provides professional assistance to the Conservation Commission; develops and recommends all Town public and Conservation programs and policies; provides administrative coordination with other Town departments.
Performs varied and responsible complex administrative and technical functions requiring comprehensive knowledge of departmental operations and the exercise of independent judgment and initiative in responding to inquiries, in dealing with the public, and in administering the functions of the office in accordance with established departmental policies and standards; incumbent must meet deadlines, oftentimes on short notice all other related work as required.
Compensation: $60,000 – $79,000 annual
