Job Description

The town of Groveland seeks an engaged, innovative, and community-minded leader to serve as Director of the Council on Aging. This position leads and oversees all aspects of the Groveland Council on Aging. The Director identifies programs, services, and activities that enable Groveland’s older adults to be active participants in the community. The Director also advocates for and educates the community on this valued population. In collaboration with the COA Board, the Director sets goals and objectives yearly and is responsible for supervisory, fiscal, and administrative work associated with the COA. The Director works closely with town staff, boards, and community organizations. In this hands-on leadership position, the Director both manages the department and actively participates in its day-to-day work, from developing and facilitating programs to supporting participants and pitching in with practical needs as they arise.

Salary for this full-time (37.5 hrs/wk) position: $80,685 year DOQ; Benefit eligible.
