The town of Saugus is seeking a qualified Custodian to perform janitorial services at town-owned facilities. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, this full-time position is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and well-kept municipal buildings. Responsibilities include floor care, restroom sanitation, trash removal, restocking supplies, cleaning common areas, dusting, window cleaning, and maintaining organized custodial storage areas.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Candidates must be able to follow oral and written instructions, prioritize tasks, and provide excellent service to building users. A high school diploma is required. This position is Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $48,485.04 to $53,603.19 annually, with excellent benefits and is part of the municipal pension system.
