The town of Lexington seeks qualified applicants for the full-time (35 hours per week) position of Department Assistant in the Land Use, Health and Development Department. Under the general supervision of the office manager, this position performs a variety of clerical, administrative and customer service work to support the overall functioning of the Land Use, Health and Development Department, including the Building, Conservation, and Health Offices. Provides primary support to a specific Office and a specific Board/Commission as assigned. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma and one to three years of related increasingly responsible administrative support experience. Anticipated hiring range: $26.36 to $30.97 per hour.
