The city of Lowell is seeking qualified and experienced candidates for the Deputy CFO position within the City Manager’s Office. This position reports to the CFO and is responsible for the preparation and administration of the annual operating budget, capital budgets, and long range fiscal planning. Extensive responsibility is also exercised in the initiation and implementation of administrative research studies, and in the operational analysis of programs, systems, and procedures to provide a basis for management improvement and decision-making. The Deputy CFO serves as the director of the LowellSTAT Program and works with the Senior Management Team on innovative, performance-based initiatives. Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred. The salary ranges from $80,244.84 to $94,221.40 annually.
