The town of Andover is seeking a Director of Conservation to lead the Conservation division within the Department of Community Development and Planning. Reporting to the Town Manager and Department Head, and working under the policy direction of the Conservation Commission, this role oversees implementation and enforcement of the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act, the Andover Wetlands Protection By-Law, and related environmental and land use regulations. The Director leads conservation planning, manages land acquisition and stewardship initiatives, and provides expert guidance to support long-term protection of Andover’s natural resources.
